6th Annual Gathering of The SeatWeavers’ Guild
We are looking forward to a wonderful time at the 6th Annual Gathering of TSWG in Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia August 2-4, 2013. The theme this year is, “Seatweaving Southern Style: From Then to Now.”
Thanks to Events Coordinators Jan Stansell and Richard Hall for pulling all of this together. Nearby Helen, Georgia looks like a great town to visit too, we can not wait.
TSWG Gatherings are certainly a highlight of being a TSWG member. Here at the Gatherings, we connect with other members and learn from one another while promoting and demonstrating the craft of chair seat weaving to the public.
Come and see all the variety of chairs that members bring for our 3rd annual traveling chair seating exhibit “Seatweaving Through the Ages.” This exhibit is open to the public and a public workshop is planned for Sunday afternoon with demonstrations of chair seat weaving techniques and types.
The month of June is our membership renewal month and also a great time for new members to join us! Membership application forms can be downloaded from the website here
