Alright, we’ve just updated each one of the 2014 Gathering pages here on the website, to reflect this addition–
We always look forward to presenting our annual and rare “Chair Seating Through the Ages” exhibit to the public. We enjoy educating everyone about these bygone quality workmanship pieces.
Many of our guild members are recreating some of the more difficult designs and patterns of the woven seats in the restoration work they do today.
2011 “Chair Seating Through the Ages” Exhibit
Won’t you join us later this month in Sturbridge, MA? Hope to see all our guild members there so we can get to know each other, share techniques, and learn hints and tips to make our weaving better.
We are all looking forward to interacting with the public through demonstrations, the chair seating exhibit and more to keep this traditional seat weaving craft alive!
