Plastic splint

Hello!

I'm a new member of the guild. I learned how to cane from my mom, who learned from my dad, who had an upholstery business but didn't enjoy caning.

Does anyone have a source for synthetic splint? A potential client has four porch rockers, and three of the backs are in good shape. The hope is to preserve them. The material is a half inch wide and brown.
