I'm restoring a fibre rush chair and discovered that the trapezoidal frame is not symmetrical. Only one corner needs filling in. The left side rail is perfectly square with the front and back rails. The right side rail flares out about and inch in the front. How to I square the weave for one side only?

I would fill the front rail 1/2" on each side (as for a "normal" trapezoidal frame). The seat will look fine when you're done with the seat. Both front sides will be the same and no one will notice the seat is "off" by 1/2" anywhere.
