Attend extensive and rarely demonstrated,  chair seat weaving presentations; share your best tips; see demonstrations of time saving ideas; bring your favorite tools; learn interesting tidbits regarding seatweaving history; and best of all, enjoy networking with fellow seat weavers! Join us for the annual membership meeting and dinner on Saturday evening, too.~~

Demonstrations featuring:

  • Danish Modern Cord Weaving, three-ply twisted paper originating in Denmark
  • Bulrush and Cattail Leaf rush, a form of chair seat weaving  dating to the middle ages
  • Field Corn Shucked seats, attributed to African American slaves.

Guild membership is required to attend the Gathering events and Meeting and space is limited.  All current paid members in good standing may attend the annual membership meeting at no cost.

The annual meeting of the corporation will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Tillers International Guest House at 8pm EDT following the dinner/banquet.

Register for the Gathering events (including the dinner/banquet) early, so we can plan a great weekend with you!

The registration fee is $45.00 per person and closes on July 17th. Register here.
